Necessary skills and qualifications:
Fluent written and spoken English
At least 1 year of relevant experience in sales or support in foreign markets (Europe, US)
Solid experience in prospecting/lead generation
Ability to consistently and effectively cold call your prospects
Understanding of software and hardware technologies
Analytical mindset and research skills, attention to details
Ability to work independently and do routine/repetitive tasks
Will be a plus:
Participation in internship programs abroad (English-speaking)
Experience working with start-ups/scale-ups, accelerator/incubator programs
Experience using CRM or sales tracking systems
Prospecting: potential clients and projects search in the selected target markets and industry sectors (consumer/commercial/industrial IoT). Select relevant and promising prospects.
Identifying prospect's needs: Follow each individual prospect through social media and blog/news channels to become familiar with their daily digital life to find clues about what drives them and what needs they might have.
Lead generation: write cold messages/emails and cold call to prospects: IoT startups (50% of the time is spent on messaging the other 50% is spent on cold calling). Generate leads = set up sales calls with your team lead or get specifications for work.
Focus on qualitative follow-ups per ABM approach. Think about what value you can bring to your prospect to make your outreach most effective.
Develop and maintain a good sense of key drivers in software and hardware markets and how to match this with company offerings. Regularly monitor and analyze IoT market trends.
Consistently add new and maintain existing prospects in our CRM system (Pipedrive). Regularly review tiers in CRM to keep it up to date and set the right priorities per each tier.
Report your lead generation activities (messaging replies, calls outcomes, objections, feedback) on weekly and monthly meetings.
